Conventional NDT Methods

 Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) is a very sensitive method for detecting fine surface breaking defects, such as cracks, in ferromagnetic material.   

Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT) is a reliable inspection method for detecting surface breaking flaws in most materials. PT works great for components that are made with nonferromagnetic materials, such as stainless steel.  

Ultrasonic Testing (UT) is a very versatile inspection method that can be used to measure wall thicknesses and flaw detection of most materials. Components can even be inspected while in-service and at very high temperatures.
